We found our bearings in the year 2004. But our history goes back even further, precisely to the year 1980s when Mr. Ramesh and Mrs. Sarita began their culinary journey with Queen’s Tandoor in Jakarta, Indonesia. As both the restaurant and Bali emerged as a popular wedding destination among the Indian community in the early 2000s, Mr. Puneet Malhotra joined forces with Mr. Ramesh and Mrs. Sarita to establish Queen’s Tandoor in Bali in 2004.
The idea for ' Why Not A Queen’s Restaurant In Bali’ soon came into existence and on November 8, 2004, Queen’s Tandoor, a fine Indian dining & catering restaurant officially opened its doors in Bali. With its bespoke & scrumptious Indian food menu along with a dedicated team of talented Indian chefs & courteous staff, Queen’s Tandoor soon expanded its subsequent branches in Kuta, Tanjung Benoa Nusa Dua, and Ubud, becoming the reigning monarch in Indian food in all the key tourist hubs of Bali!
